	Sun Country Rocks \| Climbing Team \| Team Building \| Rates & Events

Rock climbing is a challenging, fun, fitness activity that can now be experienced indoors! Right in the heart of the Florida flatlands, Sun Country has created an indoor climbing environment that has many of the features and textures found on a real rock cliff.

Our 2500 square foot wall is a state of the art facility and allows you to push your limits in safety and comfort.

Climbing is a great pathway to fitness. It helps build strength, flexibility and balance and is exciting, fun, and safe!!

The Sun Country Rocks Program features:

•	Sun Country Rocks has over 2500 square feet of climbing space which includes top rope climbing, lead climbing, and bouldering.

•	Lessons offered to children and adults of all levels.

•	Ask how your child can be part of our rock climbing team.

We offer a variety of classes for climbers of all ages and skill levels, from basic belaying to lead climbing. Our staff has more than 30 years of climbing experience both indoors and outside.

Brand new at Sun Country is the addition of a 900 sq.ft. freestanding cave that offers more roof experience to those looking for more of a challenge and more basic bouldering experience for those just getting started. The Cave also enables those nervous climbers to get familiar with the use of ropes and gear and work on the essentials of movement and ease into climbing greater heights.

The TreadWall allows climbers (both children and adults) to focus their training routine on their endurance and stamina, or just plain have fun! The angle of the Treadwall and the speed are both adjustable to best suit each climber's skill level and general preferences. Come in and try the TreadWall during your next visit to Sun Country Rocks!

Sun Country's Climbing Team was created to help young and enthusiastic climbers reach their potential in the sport of competitive indoor climbing. Our team is open to kids ages 6 to 18. We teach young climbers all the skills needed to enjoy the sport safely and progress in their abilities. The class is open to all climbers, but space is limited!

Practices will include general stretching, warm-up and a mixture of bouldering and top-rope climbing with emphasis on specific moves and techniques. All new team members must first attend the Beginner class; Team members may progress to the Advanced class at the instructor's discretion.

•	All equipment (shoes, harness, chalk bag, belay device) will be provided for team practice times only.

•	Rental prices for equipment will apply during all other climbing times.

•	Team members will receive a 10% discount on all rock climbing retail purchases.

Climbing Classes:

Recreational
The recreational class is available for those who climb for sheer enjoyment. Climbers will work on learning skills but also play games and enjoy each others climbing companionship.

Competitive
The competitive team offers more dedicated individuals the skill building and driving force they need to suceed in competition

Cost per month:

$54.00

*	All team members must be members of Sun Country.

*	Cost includes weekly practice and Monthly Team Climbing Pass.

NOTE: Must be a Member to participate in this program

In today's business environment, success is often dependent on how well company employees function as a team. We can custom tailor a program that will enable the participants to focus on developing the elements essential to good team practices.

Trust, communication and problem solving are only a few of the skills that can be enhanced through a well facilitated group experience. Using a series of initiatives both on the wall and in the gym, we will create a program for your group!

Sun Country Rocks Rates:

3 Climbs up the Rock Wall:

$12 members
$14 non-members

(Includes 3 Climbs up the wall and Full Rental)

Daily Passes:

$8.50 members
$9.50 non-members

Monthly Passes:

$40 members
$45 non-members

All of our rates include full rental
All Climbers must have a current Sun Country release form signed (minors must be signed by parent/guardian) before climbing!
Climbers do not have to be members of Sun Country.
All Climbers over the age of 14 are expected to become belay certified. Belay certification is FREE of charge. Classes are held daily.
If you do not want to get belay certified, Sun Country staff will belay you, however, we only guarantee 1 climb per hour (3 climb rate is the only exception).
No child drop offs unless they are belay certified!
